COURSE Requirement . Be 15 years of age by the last day of the course . Attend fully all class schedules . Successfully demonstrate proficiency in all critical water and land skills . Score a minimum of 80% on all required written exams
** Important Information ** . $50 Pre-Course fee (part of the total course fee) anytime prior to the 1st day in order to be provided with the course workbook . Please note that the lifeguarding course is a challenging program, made more difficult by the compact course schedule. MISSING A CLASS ISN'T AN OPTION (speak with me if you have questions). . All courses are presented with a user friendly approach. . All courses offer both in-water and land practice times . No class meetings on Sunday . Be fully prepared for both water and land work each day . ALWAYS bring your pocket mask and workbook each day

Lifeguard Training Review ($200) . Re-certifies Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional and AED. . EVERYDAY BRING: Swim suit, LGT workbook, and pocket mask
SWIM PRE-TEST ~ For All Lifeguarding and Waterfront Course ~ * Must be completed before the 1st day of any course * *** GOGGLES CAN ONLY BE WORN FOR the endurance swims ***
(1) 300 yd. (550 yds. for Waterfront) swim continuously, demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing while using the front crawl (freestyle). Candidates may also use breaststroke and/or combination of front crawl and breaststroke. (2) Tread water for 2 minutes without using hands....
(3) Sprint 20yds., retrieve brick from bottom and return 20yds. (timed - 1:40 seconds max.) (4 - Waterfront Only) Swim 5 yds., submerge and retrieve 3 objects placed approx. 5 yds. apart in water 4-7 ft. deep, resurface and swim approx. 5 yds. to the side of the pool.
